Sang Kumbang

An old art. Made few months ago.
My second attempt drawing this silly portrayal of local idiom, "Kumbang pencari kembang."
Literally translate as: Flower seeker beetle, an expression for a male whose looking for female for (future) romantic relationship.

I was attending a water color workshop class, and the theme was: Make an original character with animal/insect trait.
They were scrambling some cards with animal/insect photo on it backside, and randomly divided them at us. I got beetle. 
With my simple mind, this was what came to my brain at that time

First attempt was failure, so I re-made it at home.
